Our Head Teachers

Wellbeing and support staff

Our wellbeing and support staff guide student wellbeing, learning needs and inclusion. Our wellbeing team consists of Year Advisers, School Counsellors, Student Support Officers, School Learning Support Officers and Aboriginal Education Officers, all overseen by our Head Teacher of Wellbeing. They work with teachers to make personalised adjustments. This means each child can take part fully in school life. We make our school welcoming and accessible to every child.

Student Leaders

At Keira High School, student leadership plays a vital role in helping young people express their voices, take part in decision-making, and understand their rights and responsibilities as active citizens. Through the contributions of our School Captains and Student Leaders (Year 12), the Student Representative Council (Years 7–11), and Sports Leaders (Year 11), students are empowered to shape their learning and school environment while preparing to participate meaningfully in the wider community.
