Special Education
At the heart of our school is our Special Education Unit, an inclusive and supportive setting that caters to the diverse needs of our students. The unit consists of two Mild Intellectual Disability classes, four Autism classes, and one Moderate Intellectual Disability class.
Our staff are guided by key philosophies that prioritise the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of every student, ensuring they are nurtured to become informed, engaged, and lifelong learners.
Opportunities
Learning opportunities extend well beyond the classroom, with students participating in a wide range of engaging programs both within the school and across the wider community. Student success is strengthened by the strong partnership between home and school, enabling the development, review, and achievement of personalised learning goals.
Student-Centred Growth
With a strengths-based approach, students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning at their own pace. They actively seek and respond to feedback from staff, peers, parents/carers, and community partners, ensuring a truly collaborative and enriching learning journey.
